A keen-eyed Reddit user from the PS5 subreddit was quick to spot that this collaboration involves one of Sony’s well-known intellectual properties. Given People Can Fly’s track record with action-packed shooters like Outriders and Gears of War: Judgment, it’s reasonable to narrow down the likely candidates from Sony’s library. Among the lively discussions in the subreddit, the idea of a new SOCOM game seems to be leading the charge. Others have speculated possibilities including revivals of Killzone, Resistance, or even Warhawk.
One Redditor speculated, “It’s got to be either SOCOM or Killzone since the developer specializes in shooters.” Another chimed in, “Resistance is also a strong contender.”
