Man, FromSoftware just dropped some news that kind of caught me off guard. They’ve finally set a date for Duo Expeditions in Elden Ring Nightreign. Okay, so it sounds all fancy, but really, it’s just two-player co-op. You know, they tossed in solo play pretty quick after launch, but teaming up with a buddy? Yeah, it was more of a three-player gig until now. Why it took this long? No clue. Maybe it was intentional. Or maybe I just got distracted. Who knows.
Anyway — wait, no — where was I? Right, the update. It’s part of their next big patch coming this Wednesday, July 30. Duo Expeditions is obviously the star here, but there’s more to chew on, like quality of life tweaks. FromSoftware spilled the beans on one of them – something about Relic filtering, or something. Super handy if you’re like me and accumulated a mountain of those things.
Oh, and hey, they’ve pushed out over 5 million units of Nightreign, so these updates are probably gonna be a big deal, right?
So, the timing is pretty slick, ’cause it’s dropping right before the next Everdark Sovereign cycle. Not totally clear on what’s happening there, except they’re cranking out tougher versions of some bosses like Nightlords Tricephalos. Sounds intense? Yeah, probably.
The past few weeks have been full of Everdark Sovereign things, like Gaping Jaws, Darkdrift Knight, and Sentient Pest. Missed out on those? No worries, I tossed together a guide for all map events and rewards. Because, well, why not?
