Set in the intriguing world of The Oldest House — the home of the Federal Bureau of Control and the backdrop of the hit game Control — FBC: Firebreak shifts gears from Remedy’s usual narrative-heavy style. This time, the focus is squarely on gameplay. Remedy is aiming to craft a live-service experience that sidesteps the typical “fear of missing out” pitfalls, ensuring that all content remains free and accessible at your own pace.
In the latest trailer, we’re introduced to the Paper Chase Job, one of the many missions players will tackle in FBC: Firebreak. In this scenario, the Firebreak Initiative is tasked with clearing a part of The Oldest House overtaken by rebellious sticky notes. The trailer also gives us a peek at the different loadouts players can use to defend against the persistent threat of the Hiss.
When it drops, FBC: Firebreak will be playable on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and available for PC users via Epic Games Store and Steam.
But that’s not all — FBC: Firebreak is just one of the four games debuting in the Game Catalog. Players can also revel in titles like Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor.
