During battles, you call forth your Phantom squad by "Confining" their souls to items found on the map. Choosing which object to bind them to is entirely up to you, and each choice affects their stats in battle. Phantoms can also "Confire" with special gadgets for attacks that may be slow but are devastatingly powerful.
