This exciting update comes from CD Projekt’s chief financial officer, Piotr Nielubowicz, as reported by VGC. The impressive sales milestone was shared alongside the financial results for the company’s fiscal quarter ending in September.

On another note, the Phantom Liberty expansion has also made remarkable strides, selling over eight million units. This expansion seems to be resonating well with fans, adding to the success of the main game.

Looking ahead, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on Mac devices soon, expanding its reach to a broader audience. Additionally, fans of this immersive universe can look forward to a new animation project set in the Cyberpunk world.

Nielubowicz shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I bring exciting news directly from Night City. Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 30 million copies sold, and the Phantom Liberty expansion has similarly captivated fans, with eight million units sold.”

“These figures are astounding—they showcase the vibrant community and the enormous interest in Cyberpunk’s universe. Both accomplishments are incredibly significant as they come on the heels of our announcement that the game and its expansion will be available on Mac devices with Apple Silicon chips next year.”
