Man, so RimWorld. It just clawed its way back into Steam’s Top Ten, which is wild, right? That new Odyssey DLC — it’s like, whoosh, suddenly everyone’s interested again. Talk about a leap! Shot up 58 spots, landing at No. 3. I guess a 20% discount doesn’t hurt either. Bargains have a way of grabbing us by the wallet.
And Odyssey? Apparently, it’s a big deal too. Fifth bestselling — like, right after its big debut on July 11. Timing is everything or maybe it’s just the stars aligning, who can even tell?
Counter-Strike 2. Still holding the crown — number one, not budging an inch. Seriously, it’s like a cat on a warm laptop, just not moving. PUBG: Battlegrounds though, cruised up three positions. Can we just talk about that K-pop thing with Aespa? Game-changer maybe? Seems like fans think so.
Okay, so, Steam Deck slides down to number four. Probably nothing too dramatic, right? Just casual hardware vibes. Meanwhile, Marvel Rivals is strutting up to sixth, climbing 25 spots. July 11 must’ve been a cosmic event — new season and all.
Then there’s Peak, dropping four spots to seven. I mean, 4.5 million units sold and still moving. Kind of feels like that movie you always end up watching again, for no good reason, really.
Oh, Destiny 2 pops back at No. 8, thanks to The Edge of Fate expansion. July 15 was its day. Honestly, more like a resurrection. Naraka: Bladepoint at ninth is hanging in there, like a martial arts movie marathon that never ends. And oh, poor Dead by Daylight, slipping to tenth. Life’s a rollercoaster, especially in this list.
Anyway, the whole jumble for the week ending July 15 looked like this:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton
3. RimWorld, Ludeon Studios
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. RimWorld – Odyssey, Ludeon Studios
6. Marvel Rivals, NetEase
7. Peak, Aggro Crab
8. Destiny 2, Bungie
9. Naraka: Bladepoint, NetEase
10. Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive
So there you have it. A rollercoaster of rankings — or maybe just life happens, who knows.
