So, Amazon’s Prime Day is about to call it a wrap, right? And here’s your last shot at snagging some sweet deals in the VR gaming world.
Ah, the Quest 3S. They launched this thing last October. Regularly, it’ll set you back $300 if you’re eyeing the 128 GB model. Want more space? The 256 GB version runs $400. Both offer the same virtual and mixed reality games as the Quest 3, but the 3S is a tad bulkier and, yeah, a bit cheaper. Discounted today—I’m talking $250 for the smaller one and $330 for the big guy. Prime Day’s last hurrah and all.
By the way, there’s this image they showed off—some stylish VR life moment, courtesy of Meta. Meta’s all over this, aren’t they? Anyway, the pictures looked slick.
Random note: They’ve tossed in bundles too. The 128 GB has a Gorilla Tag package—exclusive game stuff and 1,000 Shiny Rocks (which apparently matters if you’re into that game). On the flip side, both versions get Batman: Arkham Shadow. Free is good, right?
There are a couple of extra deals on accessories. Be warned, though; the hardware bundles—like with the Elite Strap, battery, the whole shebang—aren’t cheaper than just buying things separately. Go figure.
Oh, and technically, we’ve seen the Quest 3S go for less. Last Black Friday, the 128GB version dropped to $300 but came with a $75 Amazon Gift Card. Pretty nifty.
Still, if you’re looking to dive into the virtual realm, this is quite the ticket. Games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and some epic VR titles—Half-Life: Alyx, Skyrim VR, the classics. Wondering if it’s worth it? We did a review deep dive. Even at $300, it’s hard to beat that value. Now or never, maybe?
