Alright, so here’s the deal. Fellow Traveller and Paper Castle had to push back their game Wander Stars, probably trying to iron out the wrinkles. And who hasn’t been there, right? Anyway, I guess they broke it to us gently — well, sorta — with a note about polishing up. Turns out, once the gamers got their hands on the beta, it was kinda obvious the UI was a hot mess and the bugs in combat were, let’s just say, not adding to the fun.
So, they’re taking their sweet time now. Which, considering the stress they were under, is totally fair. Better than releasing a half-baked game, I’d say. Random sidebar: The new launch is on the anniversary of Underhero. Coincidence? I think not.
Seriously, though, patience really is a virtue. They’ve been at this for, what, 7 years? Imagine the coffee and late nights that took. Ringo and Wolfe, our animated dynamic duo, are off chasing pieces of a map across the galaxy — which is clearly inspired by the classics like Cowboy Bebop. Can’t decide if that’s genius or just… borrowing creatively.
Anyway, these guys use something called Kiai. Nope, not a typo. It’s their quirky martial arts mix, where creativity meets chaos with, like, 200 words to choose from — sounds more like poetry than combat, but who am I to judge?
Keep an eye out on that Nintendo eShop. September 19 it is. And if you’re patient, you’ll probably be rocking it out by August 2025. Time flies, huh?
Ah, trailers. Almost forgot — if you’re a sucker for those teasers, there’s one waiting for you. But seriously, who isn’t a fan of a good cinematic glimpse?
