inZOI’s First DLC Unveils a Summer-Themed City, Free for All Players in Under Two Weeks

Life sim inZOI, huh? So, they’re rolling out some big stuff with their first DLC—Island Getaway. And yeah, Krafton kinda spilled the beans early. Whoops?

It’s coming free for anyone who already owns the game. Sweet deal, right? Plus, Mac folks, guess what? You finally get your turn, too.

Now, the DLC drops on August 20, just a day after its flashy debut at gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. I mean, who thought they’d give away part of the secret before the big event? But here we are.

So, what’s in the getaway package? It’s this map called Cahaya, influenced by Southeast Asian vibes, split into two islands. Picture-perfect setting, apparently. You can dive into activities like swimming and snorkeling. Can almost hear the splash already.

And it’s not just the water stuff. Farming pops up, too. Dressing up your character turns up a notch with tropical outfits, decorations, and hairstyles. I mean, why not look snazzy while planting imaginary crops, right?

Alongside all this, there’s an update hitting the main game, poking around in various corners. Farming, fishing, and even gem crafting? They’ve just opened them up across all the maps. Oh, and zipping around on electric scooters and motorcycles just got real.

Character interactions are getting a facelift. Think random gatherings, thought bubbles, and some fancy "cooperative actions." Sounds like they want players bumping into each other in unexpected ways.

Other tweaks? Quality of life improvements, they call them. UI gets a polish, 90 new tunes to jam to, and drumroll early gamepad support. Still in testing, but hey, it’s something.
