Monster Hunter Wilds—Title Update 2

Besides the cool stuff in the trailer, this update’s got tweaks and fixes all over. Keep an eye on the official website for a new Director’s Letter from Yuya Tokuda. Sounds fancy, right? Should give us a peek into more than just the new beasts and bells.

● The Leviathan, Lagiacrus, pops up finally

Lagiacrus! Been waiting on this guy forever. Top dog (or, uh, sea monster) in the ocean, tossing around electricity like it’s confetti. Hunters at Rank 31 or higher, step right up after you finish “A World Turned Upside Down” and “Forest Doshaguma.”

You’ll mainly fight this big guy on land, but don’t be fooled. There’s a little water action waiting to trip you up. Ever try using weapons underwater? Yeah, good luck with that. Stay sharp!

Get the materials from Lagiacrus to make new armor for your hunter and Palico. Fancy layered ones too.

● Flying Wyvern, Seregios, swoops in

Gleaming Seregios, the flying menace, is here! This one’s a fast flier, tossing blade scales that’ll make you bleed—literally. Better pack some steaks for this fight. HR 31 and above folks, you’re up, post-mission.

Brand new shiny armor awaits, made from Seregios parts. Snazzy.

For those seeking a tougher scrap, 8★ Tempered Lagiacrus and Seregios are looking for challengers. Must be HR 41 or higher. Good luck, you brave souls!

Hunt with style—layered weapons

Grab yourself some Layered Weapons in this update. Want the look of one weapon but the stats of another? Mix it up! Craft that final weapon and voila, you’ve got style points without losing power. This also applies to Palico weapons. Who knew hunting could be so chic?

New optional features

Swap out your field buddy to Eric after tackling Lagiacrus. Alma can take a breather—everyone needs one, right?

A new Support Hunter

Meet Mina. Yeah, she wields a Sword & Shield. You can now pick which support hunters tag along on your adventures. Custom crew, anyone?

Photo Mode gets a makeover

Click away with improved Photo Mode options. Effects, brightness, and even your crew can be toggled off for that perfect snap. Sounds like Instagram-worthy stuff.

Party time! Festival of Accord: Flamefete event

Starting July 23 till August 6, the Grand Hub is hosting a blaze of a party! New armor, new gestures, decorations, and even special meals are on the menu. Go wild—just don’t get burned!

Arch-Tempered Uth Duna arrives July 30

Face the mightier Uth Duna from July 30 to August 20! Beat this beast, grab new armor, and show off that hard-earned flair. Must be HR 50 or more though. No slackers here.
