Sure thing, here it goes without any extras:

Okay, so there’s this buzz going around. Apparently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is gonna have this wild 20v20 mode called Skirmish, or something like that. Yeah, it leaked, and kinda from Activision itself, if you can believe it.
So, picture this, it was announced out of nowhere during the Xbox Games Showcase in June. Like, “Oh, by the way, here’s Black Ops 7.” Talk about a surprise drop. Now, they didn’t really say when it’s coming, but I mean, anyone who’s been around knows it’ll probably drop around October. Tradition, you know?
And about Skirmish… There was this uh, mix-up on June 26. The Xbox version of the Call of Duty HQ app kinda slipped up (maybe they looked away for a sec?) and showed us some loading screens from a playtest of Black Ops 7. Or maybe it didn’t happen. Who knows, right? But what we saw—there’s this new thing called Skirmish apparently.
Now, Skirmish sounds pretty cool. Imagine 20 players per team, all going at it on this massive map, chasing down objectives. Like, you gotta destroy payloads or capture some hot spots, and all the while, you’re in a wingsuit. Yeah, a wingsuit. I don’t really get it either, but sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Anyway—wait, where was I? Oh yeah, so these leaked screens talked about some “closed internal playtest” (CIP) that maybe hasn’t happened yet, maybe it’s happening soon. One guess is June 27 to 29. Activision is all quiet about it, like not saying a word. They’ve not even pulled the images from social media, which is odd for them. But hey, just because they’re testing a new mode doesn’t mean it makes the final cut. Things change, right? Even if it does show up, who knows what it’ll look like by then?
Oh, and another thing—Black Ops 7 might just hit a Nintendo console, like, finally. People are whispering about it maybe being on the Switch 2. Seems wild, but Microsoft and Nintendo have this deal, so maybe it’s not just a pipe dream. Last time a Call of Duty was on Nintendo was ages ago, like 2013 with Ghosts on the Wii U. Ancient history in gaming terms.
So yeah, let’s see if they spill more beans by August. Activision tends to not stay silent long. Fingers crossed for more news and less leaks, right? Or maybe not—we all love a good leak!
