Alright, so I gotta talk about Zenless Zone Zero. You know, that game that’s been buzzing lately? Anyway, this whole thing kicked off because they did this big celebration for the game’s first birthday. Or sorta, because it wasn’t even the real anniversary, which is funny. The actual date is in July, but hey, who’s complaining about extra content, right?
So here we are, July 4th rolls around, and bam, it’s officially been a year since this thing dropped. Happy birthday to them, I guess! They’re throwing a party with another update — 2.1, if numbers are your thing — but here’s the catch: we gotta wait until July 16. Typical, huh?
The update’s got this name that sounds all dramatic — The Impending Crash of Waves. It’s about some new faction getting thrown into the mix and a couple of new zones. Spook Shack is one of them, which sounds like something straight out of a Scooby-Doo episode. Kinda works with the whole water vibe they’re going for, along with Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. I dunno why these names amuse me, but there it is.
This whole thing starts Season 2 Chapter 2 of the story, and Sailume Bay is where the action’s gonna be. Fantasy Resort sounds like a vacation, but nope, it’s all about the summer story arc and an event. Sometimes I wish I could just hang at these game resorts, you know?
Of course, new Agents are making an entrance. Because what’s an update without new characters, right? Ukinami Yuzuha, with her candy-bomb-throwing-tankui sidekick Kama, is turning heads. I mean, bombs… made of candy? What even is this? But okay, sounds fun. Then there’s Alice Thymefield, swordmaster extraordinaire, slicing and dicing with some fancy moves. Her ‘Blade Etiquette’ charges up, whatever that means.
Oh, and update day’s bringing in Miss Esme — another S-Rank. Plus, Void Hunter Miyabi and Yanagi are back with their frosty and electric vibes, respectively. Pretty cool stuff coming out, literally.
Anyway, if you’re into codes or whatever, better check out what Zenless Zone Zero’s got for July. Don’t leave freebies on the table, you know? That’s about it, I guess. What a wild ride.
