The thing about the Nintendo Music app is, it’s like a time machine in your pocket. Right? You pop it open, and boom—you’re hit with tunes that seem to span forever. I mean, nearly 40 years is a long time to be gaming, and who knew music stood out so much? I didn’t, till I started digging in.
So, what’s the catch? Gotta be a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber. No biggie, if you’re into that scene already. You can stream your heart out or—wait for it—download tracks for offline jamming. Maybe sitting on a bus. Or in a library where headphones probably aren’t the friendliest option.
The music selection is like a buffet of nostalgia—Mario’s iconic jumps, Zelda’s epic landscapes, that bizarrely catchy squid music from Splatoon. Searching’s a breeze: type a game name, track, playlist, or just browse by looking through the screenshots. I mean, who even thought screenshots would be fun to browse? But here I am, doing exactly that.
Oh boy, the library just keeps getting bigger. Every time I check, there’s more. By console, no less! So, me being the kind soul I am, I tried to list what’s there—‘cause why not. It’ll get updated, eventually. Or not. But, here goes.
