Alright, so get this. I wasn’t even thinking we’d see another update for Elden Ring Nightreign this week, but bam, there it is. Surprising, right? There’s no downtime either—nice. But hey, you’ll need to update if you wanna hang out with other players.
So, Update 1.01.4 strolls in, right after 1.01.3 from way back in June. Honestly, the fixes? Pretty relevant if you ask me—most folks will find something useful.
Now, there’s this bit where it adds weapon type info to the Armament menu. Makes sense, I guess? Like, so you don’t get lost in your own inventory. You know when you’ve got that one weapon, and you’re like, “What even is this?” Yeah, exactly.
Everything else in the update is just—fixes galore. Some of them were like, game-breakers if you hit them. Like when your teammates drop out together and matchmaking turns into a nightmare. Fixed now, thankfully.
Oh, and don’t even get me started on those missing gestures and achievements. I mean, you’ll have to unlock them again. Not fun, but maybe there’s some sneaky behind-the-scenes stuff for the Sentient Pest Nightlord. Like, becoming Everdark Sovereign? Cool title, right?
Should be in the game by tomorrow, July 3. Everdark Sovereign bosses are no joke, only for those who’ve beaten the original ones—extra spicy!
Those fights, like Gaping Jaws and Darkdrift Knight, came with new attacks. Caught me off guard first time around, honestly.
Check out the rest of the update notes:
– Weapon Type shows up in the Armament Info menu now.
– Fixed matchmaking issues when two players ghosted simultaneously.
– The “It’s Raining!” gesture now registers properly. You’ll have to jump through hoops again if you missed it earlier.
– Reviving issue during a boss battle? Fixed. No more glitchy near-death comebacks.
– Background music glitches in certain spots? Sorted out now.
– Achievement bug for “Shifting Earth: Crater”? Consider it handled. You might even get credit again.
