Apex Legends Unveils Patch Notes for Latest Update

Alright, so Respawn just threw another update at Apex Legends—yeah, I know, it feels like there’s always something new happening. Anyway, this time they’re tweaking a couple guns, the Devotion and the EVA-8. I mean, seriously, does anyone actually get how these changes work? They’re always fiddling with the meta, as if it’s some delicate ecosystem or something.

Maybe it’s a good thing. Keeps you on your toes, or maybe just makes you want to throw your controller. Meanwhile, the EVA-8 got a little love. Damage per pellet is up, but they dialed the fire rate down. Sort of a give and take, you know? And those purple and gold bolts? Now they’re supposed to match the other shotguns. How does that even work—you tell me.

I have mixed feelings about these changes. Some players are cheering about the Devotion getting nerfed, but others? They’re grumbling, thinking it still needs more work.
