Sure thing! Here it is:

So, today’s the big day. Spirit of the North 2 is finally out, and wow, what a journey. I kinda want to just babble on about what it took to birth this sequel. Buckle up, I guess?
You know, it all started around 2016. Picture me — fresh outta architecture school, juggling 3D environment art, and oh yeah, running an ice sculpting gig. Quite the combo, right? Crafting spaces that people love has always been my jam, but I wanted to do something wild with it. A video game, maybe?
Fast forward, I’m in Reykjavík, Iceland. And folks, talk about a lightbulb moment. This place is like a living postcard — volcanic fields, crazy rocks, glaciers, the works. Every corner of Iceland screamed “make a game outta this!” and so, I did.
The fox thing? Oh, that’s a fun story. Ever heard of a Tulikettu? Me neither, until I stumbled on a random book. It’s this Finnish fox with a fiery tail that lights up the night sky. The perfect little mystical mascot for what was brewing in my head.
And yeah, that’s how Spirit of the North got its vibe. It’s like an adventure for a fox, but more than that. There’s war stories, lost spirits, and ruins. Not served up on a plate with talking heads though. You gotta explore, piece it together. The sequel? So much more. Meet guardians like a sad Stag and a grumpy Raven. They’ve got stories I can barely keep track of.
This isn’t just a game for me, honest. It’s like a slice of my brain, stretched out and pixelated. Every story, every note of music, every blasted rock on the mountain is a piece of what fuels us. We’re just hoping it hits you in the feels like it did for us. And hey, it’s out today on Xbox Series X|S. Catch ya later!
