Alright, so imagine the Fighters Guild in Oblivion. It’s like one of those big, burly action movies where nobody minds if you swing around a warhammer like you’re at a medieval disco. Seriously, picture Gogron gro-Bolmog — a classic juggernaut — just smashing stereotypes left and right. Now there’s this new mod and I’m kind of tempted to ditch my sneaky archer persona for once. I mean, who wouldn’t want to?
Literally, a day after launching a mod for the Dark Brotherhood that lets you embark on endless assassination sprees — complete with nifty gacha rewards — the modder, ColdTyrant, switches gears. Picture this: a mod where the Fighters Guild — spoiler alert — tangles with some weird tree sap drinkers. It’s kinda wild.
So this mod, ‘Fighter’s Guild – Infinitum,’ swings into the scene — throwing in over 100 monster contracts that you can tackle repeatedly. It’s like having this endless buffet of beast-slaying quests. Basically, you get these notes sending you into Cyrodiil’s dungeons to snuff out glowing monsters. Sounds a bit like a fancy light show, right?
Now, don’t expect any lottery-like rewards here. This time, you’re looking at 500 gold per gig and these special tokens to buy gear at the new Fighters Guild Store in Leyawiin. Side note: they’ve also set it up so you can chill on the top floor of the guildhall. I mean, that’s nice, I guess?
And oh boy, it’s almost Witcher-like — creating a character to live off monster hunting. Oblivion practically demands it considering most characters end up looking like they crawled out of a funhouse mirror.
Wanna try ‘Fighter’s Guild – Infinitum’? Better snag Oblivion Remastered’s UE4SS and UE4SS TesSyncMapInjector. Oh, and ColdTyrant’s hinted they might tackle the Imperial City’s Arena next with a similar mod. So, who knows what’s coming?
If you join the Fighters Guild next time, say hey to Modryn Oreyn for me. Dive into the mod world and check out the other cool stuff happening with Oblivion Remastered while you’re at it. You might find something oddly captivating.
