The next chapter of Warframe is… hang on, it’s going to Tau, across the stars or something. Yeah, Tau! That’s kind of big, right?
So, this thing called The Old Peace is the year-end capper, and Digital Extremes — the brains behind the magic — spilled some beans at TennoCon. Just a little taste, though. Not a whole entree.
Tau’s this distant star system… a big deal in the Warframe universe. Like, it’s where all the juicy lore hangs out. Getting there was a flop once, apparently, but, uh, they’re not saying when The Old Peace actually fits into the saga. Suspense!
There’s this trailer — a bit bonkers — with your Operator character. You see Loid and Lotus poking around in memories of Tau. There’s this fuzzy childhood scene with a Sentient pal, Adis, and then, boom! Rebellion on Tau’s moon sends it all sideways.
Confused? Same. But don’t sweat it. Seriously, perfect time to dive into Warframe. All this new plot stuff drops late 2025, and until then, we’ve got a fall update with a new quest – “The Teacher.” Made with Sumo Digital, no less! It’s gonna unravel the mysteries of modding. Finally!
Also, heads up: Digital Extremes is cooking up a new Warframe called Uriel, plus a quest about “the Devil’s Triad” – that’s Uriel and new Protoframes for Harrow and Wisp. More about Warframe’s road ahead is coming in the October devstream. Stay tuned, or don’t, that’s your call.
